Racist Comments Are the Best Material, Folks

So I was on stage doing my stand-up comedy special ‘Aura Farmer’ and a video started going viral where my black girlfriend calls me racist. Now, I know what you’re thinking – how does this even happen? Well, let me tell you, it’s like a bad sitcom episode waiting to happen. My girlfriend walks in on the wrong day, I’m about to drop a joke that’s gonna offend her, and the whole thing just snowballs into this huge mess. But here’s the thing: I’m not racist. I’m actually pretty liberal. I mean, have you seen my wife’s Spotify playlist? It’s all Kendrick Lamar and Dave Chappelle – it’s like she’s trying to convert me or something. Anyway, we had a great conversation about it afterwards, and I learned that being in a relationship is all about compromise. Unless you’re talking about the remote control, then there’s no compromise. That’s just basic human rights.
